- ask you to subscribe "for free" but then they ask you for your credit card number. Well, if it were really free, why on hell would they need your credit card number?
- lure you to subscribe with an unsubstantial "trial period" fee but then in the fine print say that the renewal is automatic unless you follow some intricate procedure
- offer "free" downloads full of malware, spyware, adware
Beware of "free",or "cheap" when it seems too good to be true; most often, IT IS!
